I am a Positive Psychology practitioner and this field became a calling for me since 2009 or so. Positive Psychology is the latest field of study within the gamut of Psychology which unlike Psychology, looks at factors that would make a normal life flourish. Psychology as we know it is a field that helps people who are depressed or having trouble in life while Positive psychology helps people who are leading normal lives and trying to make themselves happier on a long term, sustained basis.
In nutshell, positive psychology interventions and techniques help you achieve that level of life satisfaction that would bring you a long term well-being.
